MUSIC & ART (and other interesting stuff)
CALENDAR FOR THE WEEK OF June 27, 2011

GROOVACIOUS/GROOVEFEST AMERICAN MUSIC FESTIVAL
173 N. 100 W. CEDAR CITY, UT 84720 435-867-9800

Like I said at the top of the Groovefest Gospel Hour on Sunday: I'm tired, my body aches, and my feet are sore, but what a good hurt!

This, 9th annual, 2011 Groovefest was without a doubt the best Groovefest in history! All of the many months of meticulous work paid off in the end, but to be sure, it could not have happened without you!

Your support of this, one of Cedar City's best events, is what motivates this old boy to keep pushing to make each year a better one. There are so many to thank, from businesses to individuals, so I won't single anyone out here; just know that you are all equally important to me and the crew and we would not even be doing it if it were not for your concerted efforts to make this festival get the national attention that is now receives.

And speaking of the crew; they are the hardest working bunch you'll find anywhere! They all hold the vision that Lisa and I do - to bring incredibly talented music to Cedar City that may not normally get the chance to perform here.

I just wanted to say thank you, thank you and thank you to everyone for making a great event even better. To be sure, we all have our favorite moments and memories of Groovefest, but mine happens to be seeing all of you out there having such a great time enjoying the music, art, food and the company of like-minded people.

I will give myself a break for a couple of months before I begin to plan the 10th anniversary reunion Groovefest for 2012. Thanks again for all your wonderful support. You're the best!
