**I want to make
sure that you all know about the 2nd
annual Soirée for the Groovefest Music & Art Festival coming up on
Friday, March 13th from 7 – 9PM. This will be our first fundraiser of the 2015
Groovefest season and all proceeds will go to help us put on this year’s
Groovefest. It is an art auction fundraising event hosted by gallery GALA. This
promises to be a very exciting event and we are grateful to the gallery for
hosting it! See details below.
Don’t forget that the 2015
edition of the Groovefest Music & Art Festival is coming up June 22 – 28

illustration exhibition by nine SUU senior art and design students in SUU’s
South Hall at 351 W. University

The exhibition features original art created by the students. Admission is free

Saturday, March 7, 8:00AM – 5:00PM: Music Festival: Strings at Canyon View High School at 166 W. 1925 N. in Cedar City. Marin Colby directs the Southern Utah String Festival with a team of volunteers. Sessions start at 8:00AM and are open to the public. Students are grouped by age and level so each session makes a mini-recital. They learn from each other, rather than only the judges hearing their performance.
