It's been almost two years since Tim wrote a blog entry for our Groovacious News blog. He died March 14, 2016 and I've been in a state of shock ever since.
Our blog consisted of our best music sellers for each week, new releases to be aware of, events and activities taking place at our record store and in promoting music and art happenings in our area including our yearly music festival Groovefest. Tim spent countless hours every week compiling this information, usually Sunday evening at home. He was vigilant with this blog because we both knew from experience that consistency is one of the key components of success in any endeavor.
Tim loved living in the desert and loved nature, he loved life in our community and wanted everyone everywhere to know about it. He is greatly missed by everyone who knew him. I do believe that his death has greatly impacted our tourist industry. As for me, well I am devastated that he is gone.
I've considered writing about our journey, Tim and mine and hopefully add in some Groovacious News and regain or rebuild rather upon what is left.
