The guitar interplay between Dembowski and Aplanalp channel American Beauty acousticism, Moby Grape rawness, and even moments of Loose Fur punk rock avant-garde. While the rumbling, heavy planetary rhythm section of bassist Chesney and drummer Smith - along with Nuñez’s roiling B3 - underscore three and four part vocal harmonies that harkens back to Pasadena’s distant musical forefathers the Association...

The new, more concise Groovacious events calendar!

Hello music lovers!!
I have had concerns expressed to me lately that my events calendar is too lengthy.

My intent has never been to overload you with too much, but to simply inform you as to all of the wonderful things that are going on in our fair city and the surrounding area. I’ve spent hours every Monday putting this list together for you for several years now in the hopes that you will join with us in participating in at least some of these events – and I can’t even touch the surface. If there were nothing going on here, these weekly lists would not be so long!

Though my intentions have been good, I certainly do not want you to immediately delete this calendar the minute you see it! So… from this point on, this weekly calendar will ONLY include music-related events, specific to our store, but also shows that we think you should pay close attention to.

If you still do not want to know what is going on here at the store and around town musically, you can always ask to be removed from our list.

Thanks for looking and if you are interested in other happenings around town – please take a look at the Cedar City Brian Head Tourism Bureau’s calendar at http://www.scenicsouthernutah.com/calendar/
