I really hope you all had a very pleasant Labor Day weekend! I don’t know about you, but it’s extremely hard for me to believe that it has already come and gone. Very soon I will be heavy into the planning of the 10th Anniversary Groovefest Alumni Reunion Show for next June!

This year has gone way too fast, but we have a lot of great things to look forward to coming up in the next few months. As always, I hope you will take the time out to participate in the things we have to offer in out beautiful area. The more you participate, the more they will happen!

Featuring music by the Master Singers, Hand Bell Choir, Southern Utah String Quartet and soloists. The suggested donation is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students. 

Wednesday, September 6, 4:00PM – 7:00PM: Downtown Farmer’s Market continues, Center St. & Main St., behind The Pastry Pub in Cedar City. This is a project of the USU/Iron County Extension, the Downtown Retail Alliance and Red Acre Farm. Features locally grown and produced fresh foods. This will also be an opportunity to mix it up with Cedar City Council candidate BEN SMITH. Saturday, September 10, all day: A Benefit for Sadie Jane Webster in the Lin's parking lot at 150 N. Main in Cedar City. There will also be a yard sale, BBQ, raffle, bounce house for the kids and live music by SUSWA members RICHARD PANESSA and BRAD BATEMAN from 11:30AM to 2:30PM.  Sadie was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia in May of 2007 and completed treatments in June of 2009 and was in remission.
