I
hope you made it to at least some of the entertainment at the GROOVEFEST
AMERICIAN MUSIC FESTIVAL which was held from June 19th through the 24th!
It was one of the most incredible events I’ve ever done and definitely the most
exhausting! But it was so well worth it to see all of you out there having fun
with all the amazing talent we invited back for the 10th anniversary
reunion show.
I
want to thank everyone who attended, plus all of our sponsors and those who
attended all of our fundraising events. You are all so appreciated and it makes
me proud to be part of such a great little artistic community! Thank you, thank
you, and thank you!

Saturday,
July 7, 7:00PM: STEVE NOONAN at The
Music Barn in Parowan. This seasoned and deeply reflective musician continues to
write, sing, and produce rarities – socially conscious pieces of Americana, which defy

expressive repertoire warrants minimal instrumental canvas. A refreshingly unvarnished artist, Steve has,
in a sense, brought himself home again. Tickets are $8.00 and available at
Groovacious.www.stevenoonan.com
Saturday,
July 7, 9:00PM: SONS OF MOTHERS at Mike’s Tavern at 90
W. Hoover in Cedar City.

Sunday,
July 8, 3:00PM:
CHRIS PROCTOR at The Artiste
Sanctuary Series at St. Jude’s Episcopal Church, 70 N. 200 W. in Cedar City.
Chris Proctor's guitar style combines folk, jazz, pop, and classical music, and
critics categorize his playing as “Baroque Folk,” “New World Steel String,”
“Solo Guitar Orchestra,” “Instrumental Americana,” and compare him to Leo
Kottke and Michael Hedges. www.chrisproctor.com
