Most of these are available on great high-quality vinyl records!

Monday, November 17 – Friday, November 21, 10:00AM – 5:00PM: Wild Perspectives: Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Wilderness Act in the SUU Hunter Conference Center, second floor, on the SUU Campus at 351 W. University Blvd. in Cedar City. Admission is free and open to the general public. The exhibition will feature 2D artwork focusing on Southern Utah’s wilderness areas. www.suu.edu/pva/artgallery/


Monday, November 17, 6:30PM: Much Ado About Nothing in the Cedar High School Auditorium at 703 W. 600 S. in Cedar City. Admission is $5 per ticket or $20 for a family pass.   435-586-2820

Wednesday, November 19 –Saturday, November 22, 7:00PM: SUU Second Studio presents “Henry V” in the Auditorium Blackbox Theatre on the SUU Campus at 351 W. University Blvd. in Cedar City. Admission is $5 per person.  

Thursday, November 20, 6:00PM: Indigenous Month Celebration in the Cedar City Library in the Park at 303 N. 100 E. in Cedar City. This event will be a celebration in recognition of Indigenous Month with guest speaker, Cameron Clark, discussing the culture and heritage of the Paiute Indian Tribe. Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend.  

Friday, November 21, 6:00PM – 9:00PM: Festival of Trees Chocolate Extravaganza at Stonehaven Event Center at 647 S. Cross Hollows Rd. in Cedar City. Everyone in attendance will receive two tastes of chocolate for free and $5 for each taste after that. The event will include a world class chocolate buffet and silent tree auction. Admission is free but you are encouraged to call in advance for a ticket. Proceeds will go to the Cedar City Fire Department. Saturday, November 22, 10:00AM: BackTrek with Brian. Hike with outdoors writer Brian Passey for a good cause. Brian is launching a series of charity hikes he's calling BackTreks to give back to the community we call home. The first BackTrek is coming up the morning of Nov. 22 along the Dino Cliffs Trail in the Red Cliffs Desert Reserve north of Washington City. Spots are limited for this 4.5-mile loop hike, so register today by emailing brian@thespectrum.com or calling 435-674-6296 and leaving your name and number. A $25 donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah — this BackTrek's featured charity — is required.
