Tuesday, February 22, 7:00PM: Tournées Film Festival in the Sharwan Smith Student Center Theater on the SUU Campus at 351 W. University Blvd. in Cedar City . This week the festival will be premiering "Barbe Bleue" ("Bluebeard"), a semi-autobiographical tale of two sisters in 1950 who find themselves immersed in a 1697 murder mystery featuring an aristocrat who marries and murders a series of wives. Admission is FREE and open to the public. All films are in French with English subtitles.
 
Wednesday, February 23, 8:00PM: Open Mic Night at Groovacious! Sign-ups at 7:30, music at 8:00. Participants are selected by random drawing and limited to 2 songs each or about ten minutes. It is always FREE! Groovacious at 173 N. 100 West, Cedar City . www.groovacious.com.

Thursday, February 24, 7:00PM: Art Insights on the SUU Campus at 351 W. University Blvd. in Cedar City . This week features four top students from SUU Class of 2011 presenting their art, thoughts, inspirations and process. Admission is free, and the general public is invited to attend. Thursday, February 24, 7:00PM: 50th Anniversary Utah Shakespeare Festival: Shakespeare on Film in the Sharwan Smith Theatre on the SUU Campus at 351 W. University Blvd. in Cedar City . This week will be the showing of “Richard III”, the 1956 version, hosted by Michael Bahr, director of the Festival’s Education programs. Shakespeare wrote this play to gain entre to Queen Elizabeth and skewed it to show Richard in a bad light and the Tudors in a good light. Admission is free, with a suggested donation of $5.00. Thursday, February 24, 7:30PM: The Orchestra of Southern Utah presents: R.L. Halversen Young Artist Concert in the Heritage Center at 105 N. 100 E. in Cedar City . This concert, conducted by Gerald Rheault, features three soloists, Logan Butt (piano), Megumi Gass (violin), and Sarah Maxwell (Mezzo-soprano) performing a new composition “Dinosaurs” by Keith and Daniel Bradshaw and “Jurassic Park” by John Williams.
