GROOVACIOUS/GROOVEFEST AMERICAN MUSIC FESTIVAL
173 N. 100 W. CEDAR CITY, UT 84720 435-867-9800
Hey! Thanks to all of you who came out to the last minute TREVOR GREEN show at Braun Books on Sunday night! No one was disappointed as it was an incredible performance by Trevor for sure! He was on his way to Sundance to play and talk about the music he contributed to the soundtrack of the new Sean Penn film called “This Is the Place”. The film also stars Frances McDormand and Harry Dean Stanton. We told Trevor to put in a good word for Cedar City!
* We have a very special show coming up at Mike’s Tavern on Saturday night!! EUFORQUESTRA will be performing for the first time since they headlined Groovefest in 2007!! If you remember, this 7-piece Afrobeat band’s van broke down in Moab and half of the band had to hitch a ride with a trucker and the other half rented a U-Haul to bring their equipment to the festival. Then, they stayed the following week and put on a free show at Groovacious to thank everyone for helping them as they tried to find a new van while here.
I feel so fortunate to acquire them to perform in the intimate setting that Mike’s is. Please, make sure you don’t miss this show! The details are all below.
