Every Thursday through August 29, 11:00PM: Cabaret at The Grind Coffeehouse at 19 N. Main St. in Cedar City.

52nd Annual Utah Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City offering matinee performances at 2:00PM and evening performances at 8:00PM in three theaters. The Festival also offers a nightly Greenshow at 7:00PM, backstage tours, seminars, and play orientations. Plays featured this season in repertory are: ‘King John,’ ‘The Tempest,’ Love’s Labour’s Lost,’ Anything Goes,’ ‘Twelve Angry Men,’ & ‘Peter and the Starcatchers’ through September 1. Monday through Saturday, 9:00AM – 5:00PM: Southern Utah Watercolor Society Special Exhibit held at the Frontier Homestead State Park Museum at 635 N. Main St. in Cedar City, through September 1st. Admission is $3.00 per person. 435-586-9290.

Saturday August 24, 7:30PM: DOUG & AARON HAYWOOD with LORRAINE THOMPSON and CHELSEA GARDNER at the Music Barn in Parowan. For 20 yrs Doug Haywood was a part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame sound of Jackson Browne. In addition to recording and touring with Jackson, Doug has also worked in the studio and/or live on stage with Linda Ronstadt, James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Graham Nash, Joe Walsh, Warren Zevon, Johnny Rivers, Willie Nelson and many others.The August performance at The Music Barn will be Doug's 8th in Iron County, but for only the 2nd time he will be joined by his son, Aaron on bass and vocals.
